The latest discovery is a road that emerged near the necropolis of Porta Stabia, reported by Superintendent Massimo Osanna: “After the pause caused by the Covid emergency, the excavations of the Porta Stabia necropolis, which will soon be reopened to the public, have resumed. Today another stretch of paved road and the edge of the sidewalk is resurfacing from the lapilli!”.
