With the approval of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, from August 2012 to June 2013, the Cultural Heritage Research Institution of Beijing excavated the tombs and carried out on-site protection of the large numbers of murals and stone relics found.

This has made a good start for long-time preservation and follow-up works such as preservation, display and planning. Currently, preservation and excavation works are underway
